Nice Umpire Base Shoe
I umpire Georgia High School girls’ fastpitch softball in the fall, with dirt infields, baseball umpire shoes get dirty with the white border trim on New Balance. The shoes are all black, which is required in GA for girls’ softball, they are comfortable, easy to clean, have no mesh where dirt can get into your socks, and look great polished. For the price, I can wear them either for one season, plus umpire travel softball games in the summer, if I can get two seasons out of these shoes, the price of these shoes are inexpensive, I will be a happy umpire…

Good Sneaker / Training Shoe Offering solid support
I don’t typically write reviews of products this quickly – only Received the Sketchers Energy Afterburn Sneakers yesterday. I felt compelled to. I have size 13 foot, but based on other reviewers’ recommendation, I sized Up to a 14 Wide. They were right. The 14 Wide was the way to go for me. The Sneaker offers solid platform for activity. I have some Balance issues due to Spinal & Cervical Stenosis at 72 Years Old, these shoes seem to provide a better platform form their solid and a bit more rigid sole – being helpful to me. They could be a scooch more wide in the toe box, but being leather uppers I know they will Give and stretch out over time. I’m a bit more hampered than others in that I need to wear Orthotics in the right shoe to accommodate my leg length discrepancy of about 1″ on the right leg. They fit comfortably and at this price appear to be a Bargain to me. IMHO, these are not Pure Walkers but more a Shoe for activities. They are a bit heavier than my New Balance & Clark Walkers but with more foot/ankle support.

Ordered these for the summer season walks. I have worn a wide shoe across various vendors for years. So I ordered the typical shoe size in a wide width, and found it to be overly spacious, especially after wearing the shoe for a week. Have been tightening the laces to create a better fit, but it is still more spacious than the typical shoe I wear from other manufacturers.

Comfortable and durable
I walk a lot, like 20+ miles a week. I go through shoes at a pretty good clip so I’m always trying to find reasonably priced shoes that are comfortable and will hold up as long as possible. These shoes have worked out very well, well enough that I’ve already gotten a second pair for when I’ve worn the heals off of these.The gold standard are when I can get a year out of a pair and these aren’t going to go that long, but they are doing well enough I’m very satisfied. The only complaint is how they glue in the insoles. If I had needed to replace them with better ones to make the shoes comfortable I would have been out of luck. Fortunately the provided ones have worked for me but I can see how they might not work for everyone.

First off this sneaker is very sturdy and wears like iron … And probably would not make a great athletic sneaker because of it’s sturdiness … I’ve been using these sneakers for about 5 years for yard work and cutting grass …I cut 10 lawns per week and will by again when needed

As a diabetic, I have to be careful to get shoes fit well, so I was reluctant to buy online, but I did so and Iâm extremely pleased with sketchers probably slightly oversize foot print shoes. If these hold up, I would love to have a few more.

I’m torn…literally
I have been buying these for about five years now. I am on my feet at work for 12 hours four days a week.I would give 5 stars, but they just don’t last, and come apart too fast!They are VERY comfortable. I usually find them on sale, and will buy two or three pairs at a time.I put them on, wear at work, and they come off when I get home…work-only shoes. In five years, this is probably about pair 9 or 10.They usually last about eight or so months before they either come apart so much that they just look terrible, or to a point where they just don’t look nice anymore, then they become my all-around shoes, then graduate to yard shoes.My only issue with them is that after about a month or so, they start coming apart at the seams; not always the same place, sometimes on the inside of the shoe, but usually starts with this area (see pic); this is minor, and just started the other day. I took this pair out of the box about a month ago. Shoes shouldn’t start to do this so soon!They are 11W, so not tight on my feet to where the seam splits are caused by overstretching the leather.So, after these and the last two pairs I have in the closet are used, I am going to be shopping for a different brand, unfortunately, because I really like these, especially since they are all-white.If anyone has any suggestions for a white nursing shoe that is comfortable, affordable, and most importantly, will last without coming apart, I am open to suggestions.

Purchased these for hubby who generally buys court shoes but Amazon was out of stock so tried these Skechers based on my own experience of loving their fit and comfort. As ones gets older a nice comfortable balanced shoe is important. These are very well quality runners being made of leather with quality stitching. Also you could tell when pulling the shoe out of the box that is not those cheap lightweight runners being sold a lot these days. The Navy color ordered is a nice dark navy/black look which blends with various clothing and hubby says they are very comfortable. I like them as despite being a runner they still have a nice quality look and not too large/obtrusive looking as some are. Will be looking to purchase my next runners from Skechers through Amazon based on this experience. Glad to see that not all companies have cheapened their product. Great quality given the price. Would definitely recommend them.
